Only 500 apps were available in the Appstore in June, 2008 and they were downloaded 10.000 times; November that same year, the AppStore offered more than 10.000 applications that were downloaded 500 million times. Right now you can find more than 350.000 applications, and in 2011 Apple announced it had hit the goal of 10 billion downloads.
