Project Brief
To develop a unique and engaging experience to help the company communicate INWIT’s added value in providing wireless infrastructure, through its innovative Tower as a Service model and DAS (Distributed Antenna System), during live events in which INWIT participates to showcase these solutions.

Innovation in Mixed Reality
An immersive and interactive experience that blends the real and virtual worlds to showcase Tower as a Service and DAS in an innovative way during major international events.
Esimple proposed to the Client the development of a unique and engaging mixed reality experience where the real and virtual worlds blend seamlessly through the use of mixed reality headsets. At each event, INWIT features within its exhibition space a physical scale model of a telecommunications tower, approximately 2 meters tall. This artifact became the starting point for Esimple to design an immersive experience that, through the combination of the real tower and virtual content, could effectively and intuitively communicate the unique features of the services offered—delivering a quick, training-free experience for the audience. In direct collaboration with the Client’s external relations team, a storyboard was developed making the antenna the central character. Content production is a sophisticated technological mix of 360° real-world imagery and real-time interactive 3D elements, fully accessible with the simple use of hands and, thanks to mixed reality, while always maintaining awareness of the surrounding environment. For this solution, the Meta Quest Pro was chosen—the first pro-sumer headset on the market capable of overlaying virtual content onto the real world in a completely natural way and with a wide field of view.
The solution—Italy’s very first to leverage next-generation mixed reality headsets—was officially presented at Comolake 2023, the inaugural digital expo conference in Cernobbio, and later showcased at the ANCI National Assembly in Genoa. The initiative was a major success, attracting an international audience that included government and institutional representatives, with over 500 visitors experiencing mixed reality firsthand and immediately recognizing the value of INWIT’s proposed solutions.
